I believe the book you are looking for is Daybreak...except the disease is Cystic Fibrosis and the children switched at birth were boys. Very good book with interesting twists!

i am looking for an old belva plain paperback about a child that was switched at birth because she was a down syndrome baby. Please tell me the title of the book and where i can find it. i am a librarian in a small town in mississippi. thank you gail

Could someone please help me? I was reading a Belva Plain novel and left it on a plane and need to buy another to finish it. I have no clue what the title is. It is Not a new one... Robb is the key subject and his wife Ellen? He becomes obsessed with a new home, money and wealth. They have a son who is autistic? (or retarded) and a daughter who Robb adores. He is an attorney. They are growing apart as he goes up in the corporate world..Please help me with the name of this book... THANKS SO MUCH. Buni

PLEASE MAKE DAYBREAK INTO A MOVIE. HOLLYWOOD WOULD SERVE A MAJOR PURPOSE BY PRODUCING SUCH A MEANINGFUL MOVIE, ESPECIALLY DURING THESE TRYING TIMES IN OUR WORLD. You know I thought I was getting senile or something...Yes, I reread the beginning and the end several times but stillI just didn't get what Leo's relationship to Adam was...The Snows were I assume Leo and the woman he married...Why did the author tell the story of "Arthur" the dog -first from the point of view from Adam's father, then from Leo?..You know, I didn't even know it was Texas -until I read the book review...Feel like writing to Belva Plain to sort out mystery
