posts on 6/13/2006 11:44:15 AM I have read several of Lisa Jackson's books. They are all really unbelievable. The characters are strong, but what I hated most of all was that it is always or seems always to be family members killing family members. I used to wonder what terrible family Jackson might have come from to write so abut family, but she states she came from a happy family. Personally, I can't see any of my family members being like any of those she shows. I can't believe there would be any way they could get by without being detected early. Just my opinion.
Copper_Moon posts on 6/9/2005 7:58:53 PM A lot of people recommended Lisa Jackson to me and I just finished reading Deep Freeze. While I like her characters and her style of writing very much I have to say that over all I was very disappointed. The killer was just so over-the-top unbelievable. The rest of the book has a very down to earth feel to it like it could actually be happening somewhere but the villian, in my opinion, has too many high tech gadgets and has no real life psychoses that make him behave as he does. He makes no sense to me at all. I hope Lisa's other villians are just as heinous while still belonging to this world.
